The REEVES Scholar Expo is an annual event showcasing the Research and Extension projects of undergraduate students participating in the REEVES program. Open to the public through a webinar format, the online Expo provides an opportunity for Scholars to present their project to stakeholders, engage with the public, and gain experience in research and extension communication. Â
The Expo will highlight the goals of the program and accomplishments from the summer, followed by each research team sharing their accomplishments from the program. This program will allow Scholars to see and hear the value of their work, while simultaneously educating key stakeholders about veterinary entomology.Â
This approximately three-hour webinar for 2026 will showcase the research, Extension, and professional development programming completed by our REEVES Scholars during their summer experience. Scholars from the University of Tennessee (Deanna and Sage), University of Georgia (Elizabeth and Lillian), Kansas State University (Kayden and Yazmin), and Texas A&M (Felecia and Lilly) will present their work on veterinary entomology, livestock pests, vector-borne diseases, surveillance, and integrated pest management, while highlighting the professional skills and leadership development they have gained through the program.
