“Trained veterinary entomologists play a vital role in determining how integrated livestock-crop production and agroecosystems coming online may inadvertently contribute to animal pest populations, and how to minimize outbreak”.
Mullens et al. 2018

The overall goal of REEVES is to introduce and train talented individuals for graduate and professional programs and livestock-associated careers, while educating them on veterinary entomology and providing them with a project relevant to stakeholders. This program is designed to highlight team science in a conducive and positive environment for undergraduate students through participation in research and Extension collaborations between faculty in different states.
