The westward spread of Bovine Theilerioses into Bovine Anaplasmosis endemic areas and the constant threat of Cattle fever in southern Texas is a reminder of that.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Similarly, the screwworm, eradicated from the U.S. almost 40 years ago, is again migrating northward and may soon threaten to re-invade. Each scholar will be provided a stipend, housing, and partial relocation expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide all scholars the opportunity to attend a professional conference (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.liwconline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Livestock Insect Workers Conference<\/a>) to network with other veterinary entomologists and learn about professional schools and career opportunities and share results through a virtual Expo to stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All scholars will develop their professional abilities including communication skills, leadership approaches, and team science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scholars will be organized into teams of two at each of the four participating universities (eight scholars total).\n<ul
