Project:
Students will work with plant associated microbial community data to characterize the unique archaeal, bacterial, and fungal communities associated with different plant species and how variation in abiotic and biotic factors alter these plant-microbe interactions.
Project:
Students will work with tick microbial community data (different species, life stages, collection events) to identify the unique bacterial communities associated with different vector life histories, including environment, life stage, population structure, host use, and pathogen presence/absence.
